It’s about time the world wakes up to the classic beauty of big women, coz we don’t just take the stage, we own it!Here at Big Is Gorgeous, our mission is to create a supportive and encouraging community that caters to our physical and psychological needs.

We shall campaign against rampant discrimination we’re being subjected to in society.We want to have jobs and beautiful clothing at reasonable price.We want our society to appreciate Big beauties like in some countries and cultures.We organise FunShops and courses which are like support groups that encourages sisterhood.

Our instructors are Big themselves and they are role models. These qualified and experienced instructors will impart to you: the art of makeup, good skincare regimes, dressing up in style, deportment, belly dancing, and other hip dance styles.Be confident in knowing that you too can be gorgeous and attractive.

It’s all in the attitude ladies! With a little bewitching magic that we will bestow upon you in our Funshops and courses, you can look and feel like a diva.

Big Is Gorgeous Pte. Ltd. was incorporated on 18th February, 2006, by Sharmilah with the mission to:

• Develop and nurture the plus size community (including youths)

• Organise events, activities, classes, seminars, etc. to meet their various learning, skills development, psychological and physical needs

• Educate the public, canvass and campaign for support from all governmental, community, private, corporate and other non-governmental agencies.
